SheWritesAI collaboration digest preview
70 jointly-authored articles among 8229 total articles from 543 newsletters, by collaborators in the SheWritesAI directory since the beginning of Substack-time
One goal of this SheWritesAI community is to encourage collaboration. As mentioned in Chat and Notes over the past week, I’m updating our digest tool to highlight ✨Jointly Authored Articles in a separate section of our weekly digest. And I’ve been testing the living daylights out of the tool (because that’s how I roll).
Last night I ran a stress test. It looked back 2000 days for the entire 550+ member SheWritesAI directory list as of 2025-12-11 (543 newsletters). The tool found a total of 8229 articles (!), of which 70 are collaborations by members from two or more listed newsletters. It does not include:
Collaborations by two directory members who wrote in the same newsletter, i.e. their own
Articles published by directory members but under a profile or byline that isn’t registered in the directory
Articles older than the last 20 from a given newsletter (Substack’s RSS limit)
Guest posts in another person’s newsletter where the publisher didn’t add their own byline (for example, Code Like A Girl; getting this added is a TO DO)
This post is a one-timer. In this stress test run, rank was based on scoring with the standard method which emphasizes engagement and doesn’t consider days since it was published.
I’m sharing it to shine some light on the people who have already been actively collaborating with other SheWritesAI community members (names in bold below). It also gives a sneak preview of what the Jointly Authored articles section may look like in our digests (assuming there are any collaborations for a given week), including some new bling to highlight top-scoring articles (💯).
I’d love to hear what you think. (Especially if you notice any mistakes or anything recent that’s missing; I’m still testing!)
