Today we’re announcing a brand new addition to our Substack publication:

She Writes AI

subscriber chat.

This is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—kind of like a group chat or live hangout. We’ll post questions and updates about features you’d like to see in the directory, or activities you’d like to see in the community, or collaboration opportunities. You can jump into the discussions to share your ideas. Or you can start your own discussion thread!

To get us started: our About page has been updated to reflect some of our emerging plans and ideas for community activities and directory features. I’ve posted a link to it in the chat here. Please check it out, add your ideas, and chime in about which features you care about most!

Note: Chat threads aren’t sent via email, only notified in Substack. By default, you might not be opted in to be notified in Substack of new chat threads. (I found out today that I wasn’t opted in to new SheWritesAI chats on my personal account.) To manage this, just go to shewritesai.substack.com/account. You can manage other aspects of your SheWritesAI subscription there, too.

How to get started

On the web: You can access chat on the web. Note that if you use a browser on your mobile phone to access Substack, you may need to “request desktop site” for chat to work, or use the app.

In app: Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below:

You may also want to turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens.

Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for our SheWritesAI chat inside.
